Kezzy is what is known as a cross-over dog. That is; she underwent extensive training in a Traditional Style before joining us at the Canine Film Academy.
She has made excellent progress since she joined us and obtained
her Bronze Clicker
Award
in the January 2000 term and her Silver
Clicker Award in the following term. This means that Kezzy now has 25 behaviours
on cue. Kezzy obtained her Gold
Clicker Award (50 behaviours) in the January 2001 course.
Kezzy is a beautiful bouncy Beardie!
Carolyn's Comments (January 2001 School Shoot):
If there was an award for best turned out dog then Kezzy would walk away with it. Every inch of this dog looked great, felt great, and even smelled great - this is a dog you want to bury your face in (I know because I did!!). It was great to see Val and Kezzy having so much fun - especially as they have done a lot of shoots now. They were well prepared (great prop!), and worked very well at this level - rock solid stays and a real joy of working.
Carolyn's Comments (November 2000 School Shoot):
Kezzy always looks so happy to be on set and just looked lovely. She wasn't very settled (I know 'hairies' don't get walked on photoshoot days - especially in this weather!!!). Nicely handled and both dog and handler looked nice and relaxed.
Carolyn's Comments (July 2000 School Shoot):
Kezzy was a little distracted to start with but when settled worked well. This is a lovely handler/dog combination both being easy to work with. Kezzy was not quite volunteering her behaviours today, but once set up, held positions very well. Try and find a way of ‘doing her hair’ so her eyes are visible for shoots.
