Debbie joined the CFA in 1998 as a student and became an instructor in the same year.
Debbie is a State Registered Nurse and works in the chaotic environment of "ER"!  This training has made her an invaluable member of the CFA Team as she remains utterly calm - no matter what!!  Her sense of fun is perfectly balanced with her quiet and effective instructing technique.

Debbie has been instructing dog training classes for many years, has trained her dog in the sports of Agility and Flyball and crossed over to Clicker Training when she joined the CFA.
Her rescue dog, Blake, has appeared in TV commercials and numerous times in Dogs Today Magazine.  As one of the highest ranked dogs in the school, Blake is evidence of Debbie's outstanding ability as a trainer. Whilst watching Debbie demonstrate an exercise in class with Blake, one student summed her up with this perfect quote:"If I were a dog, I'd like to live at Debbies house."

Debbie has taken on Lottie, following the sad death of Sue Lloyd in November 2000.  Lottie returned to school with Debbie in the November 2000 Professionals Course.  Debbie says it's a bit like a "Magical Mystery Tour" - we have a list of all the behaviours that Sue had taught Lottie, we just don't know the cue's that Sue gave her to produce the behaviours!
