Sheila Hamilton Andrews
Chairman: UK Registry of Canine Behaviourists (UKRCB)

Sheila is a lifelong owner of dogs and other companion animals (cats, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters etc:). Having graduated from Guy's Hospital in London as a registered nurse, she spent six years working in the pharmaceutical industry followed by twenty one years of professional medical counselling in conjunction with raising a family, running her own dog training school and counselling those with pet behaviour problems. She breeds English Working Springer Spaniels, has also shown in breed for the past twenty years, (Beagles, Hamilton Stovares and Flat Coated Retrievers) and worked in agility and field trials. She currently owns two working English Springer Spaniels, a Flat Coated Retriever and a cat who thinks it is a dog (!). She also home boards for those not wishing to put their dogs into kennels.

She has studied human psychology through the Open University, has completed both a post graduate Diploma in Advanced Studies and an MSc, in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling, at The University of Southampton. She is a member of ASAB ( Association for the Study of Animal Behaviour) and CABSTG (Companion Animal Behaviour Study Group)

Though mainly working with dogs, she is also qualified to help owners with a variety of companion animals favouring a holistic approach to solving problem behaviour. Her knowledge combined with many years of counselling experience helps owners reach an acceptable and hopefully successful solution. She has written a series of articles for "Off Lead" (US) and a number of British journals and also lectures both at home and abroad on a variety of topics. She is one of the main lecturers at the annual Holistic Canine Convention in the US. She is the Chairman of the Board of the UK Registry of Canine Behaviourists. She is married, has two daughters and lives in Winkfield Berkshire.
